What I’d tell a friend I hadn’t seen in a year. Inspired by nownownow.com.
Where
These days I’m splitting my time between Berlin and Frankfurt Am Main.
Work
I’m a fullstack engineer at Bloomwell, working on the systems that move users through the platform — onboarding, payments, and tracking. Day-to-day I’m bouncing between Node.js, Go, React, and PostgreSQL.
Building
On the side, I’ve got a few things going:
- Dawnlog — trying to automate agile rituals so teams can spend less time in ceremonies and more time shipping.
- An AI tour guide agent for solo travellers.
- A social platform for logging what you’re learning — sharing the goal, the progress, and whatever you end up building with the new skill.
And one I keep daydreaming about: an epic game following a band of ancient warriors who set out searching for their inner power, find each other along the way, and pass it on to fight evil.
Reading
Still on a sci-fi and popular science kick. Carl Sagan, Roger Penrose, Arthur C. Clarke, and Tolkien come up the most as always. The full shelf lives on my Goodreads.
Learning
Picking up something new most days. Right now that’s coding with AI agents, Go, Kubernetes, and Deutsch.
Listening
My taste runs wide, but I keep coming back to progressive rock and metal — Gojira, Mastodon, Camel, King Crimson. That said, you might just as easily catch me playing Dua Lipa. Scrobbles live on Last.fm, and I collect records over on Discogs.
